Harrisburg – A Harrisburg man is behind bars after an armed standoff with police Saturday night. According to a release from the Harrisburg Police Department, officers were called to a home where it was reported that Joshua Hodge had threatened several family members. Hodge barricaded himself inside of the home. and police were able to make contact with Hodge via phone. Officers tried to convince Hodge to come out over several hours until it was decided that a SWAT team would be needed. The Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm System Swat Team was contacted and entered the home where they were able to subdue Hodge with a taser. Hodge was taken to the Saline County Detention Center on multiple charges. No injuries are being reported.
