Chester Bridge Restricted to One Lane Starting 5-30 Due to River Level

MoDOT – The Chester Bridge is set to limit traffic to one lane starting tomorrow due to river levels. According to a release from the Perry County Missouri Sheriff’s Office, the lane restriction begins at noon and will last for several days. MoDOT does not plan on closing the bridge however weather this week will play a heavy role in that decision. The Mississippi was measured at 43.25 feet in Chester yesterday afternoon.
