JOHNSTON CITY – One of the two golf carts previously reported missing from Stardust Golf Course in Johnston City has been accounted for.

According to a release from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, the cart was found abandoned in a corn field off Highway 148 north of Herrin.

Authorities are still searching for the other cart. Anyone with information is asked to contact Stardust Golf Course at 983-8822 or either the Williamson or Franklin County Sheriff’s Offices.
