COVID-19 Precautions to Be Utilized for Hamilton County Voters

MCLEANSBORO – Hamilton County Clerk Mary Anne Hopfinger said Tuesday multiple precautions will be in place to protect voters from COVID-19 at the voting booth on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3.

Hopfinger said election judges will wear masks and shields, plus social distancing will be in place as voters will be expected to stay six feet apart.

Regarding standing in line to vote, Hopfinger said with smaller polling places, voters will be asked to stay in their vehicles until enough voting booths are available to accommodate others.
