Norris City Man Sentenced Five Years for Burglary

WHITE COUNTY – A Norris City man was sentenced Monday afternoon in White County Court to the Illinois Department of Corrections for residential burglary.

White County State’s Attorney Denton Aud (ODD) said 19-year-old Issac D. Anderson will spend five years in IDOC with two years of mandatory supervised release. He will also have to pay costs and restitution.

Aud said Anderson’s sentence was ordered to be served consecutively to the two-year IDOC sentence imposed on him at the conclusion of a sentencing hearing on April 12 for an offense of aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer.

The residential burglary offense happened on March 11 in Norris City and was investigated by the Norris City Police Department.
