Franklin County Man Injured in Williamson County Crash

WILLIAMSON COUNTY – A West Frankfort man was injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon in Williamson County.

According to Illinois State Police, 31-year-old Jeremy E. Bader or Perryville, MO was driving his car south on Illinois 37 just north of Villa Way in Williamson County as an SUV driven by 74-year-old Marvin A. Lampley of West Frankfort was driving north at the same location. Bader crossed into the northbound lane and struck Lampley, who left the west side of the roadway and overturned.

Bader and his passenger, 26-year-old Kyle P. Kahmke of Chester, both refused medical treatments. Lampley was taken by ambulance to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Bader was issued a citation for Improper Lane Usage.
