HARRISBURG – The Fowler Bonan Foundation is set to host their Saline County Community Christmas Dinner in Harrisburg on Dec. 21.
From 3 to 6 p.m., members of the Heaven’s Kitchen charity will be serving a full Christmas meal to those who visit Heaven’s Kitchen in Harrisburg.
“We are so fortunate to be in a position to help others and after witnessing the huge blessing that was our Thanksgiving Day dinner event, we’re seeking to continue to spread the giving spirit and ensure no one is without a hot meal this holiday season,” Dale Fowler, Chairman of the Fowler Bonan Foundation, said.
Meals will include brown sugar ham, green beans, mashed potatoes, roll and a dessert. All meals will be pre-packaged and ready for curbside or walk-up pickup on Tuesday, Dec. 21.
“I just want to give a huge shoutout to all those who donated to make this meal possible and also recognize the dozens of hardworking volunteers who dedicate their time to cooking, prepping and serving,” Fowler said. “Heaven’s Kitchen is an organization that relies so heavily on the kindness and generosity of others. The outpouring of community support we receive for our mission of helping those in need never ceases to amaze.”
Heaven’s Kitchen has been operating since 2018. The Fowler Bonan Foundation is a non-profit organization whose primary mission is to provide clothing and shoes to low-income children through the Clothes for SI Kids initiative and to provide hot meals to those in need through the Heaven’s Kitchen program.
