SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (IOCI RADIO) – Illinois will launch an effort to expand COVID-19 testing availability and booster shot sites amid the recent jump in new cases.
Beginning Jan. 3, the state’s free community-based testing sites will be open six days a week to accommodate the rising number of people wanting to know if they have the virus. Additionally, vaccination efforts are increasing, Gov. JB Pritzker said.
