SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (IOCI RADIO) – Secretary of State Jesse White announced that driver’s facilities will close for a few weeks because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Facilities statewide will close from Jan. 3-17 out of concern over the rising number of new infections, according to Secretary of State Spokesperson Henry Haupt.

Haupt said drivers can renew license plate stickers, get a duplicate license or ID card, or renew driver’s licenses online at ilsos.gov.
