CARBONDALE – A Carbondale man has been arrested in connection with a shooting that happened Friday night in Carbondale.
According to Carbondale Police, officers responded around 10:20 p.m. to the 800 block of West Main Street in reference to a report of shots fired.
During the course of the investigation, officers learned the suspect, 39-year-old Teron C. Stuart of Carbondale, unlawfully fired a handgun in response to a feud he was in with known acquaintances.
Officers arrested Stuart for Reckless Discharge of a Firearm.
After consulting with the Jackson County State’s Attorney’s Office, Stuart was lodged in the Jackson County Jail.
Police say no injuries were identified or damaged property was located as a result of the incident.
