JOHNSON COUNTY – A Bluford man was injured in a semi crash on Illinois 37 in Johnson County around 10:45 Monday morning.

According to Illinois State Police, 55-year-old Roger Smith was traveling south on Illinois 37 north of Dogwood Lane in Goreville when he left the roadway to the left and struck a ditch embankment.

He was flown to a regional hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Smith was cited for Improper Lane Usage.
