MARION – The following information was released by the Marion Police Department on Thursday, June 22, 2023.

James Avant, 60, of Marion has been issued citations for Theft over $500 and Resisting/Obstructing a Police Officer on Junes 20, 2023 in the 1600 block of W. Main St.

Miriam Waymire, 53, of Virginia Beach, VA has been issued a citation for Battery in the 1000 block of W. McKinley St. on June 20, 2023.

Keith Wilson, 52, of Collinsville, IL has been issued a citation for Domestic Battery in the 1000 block of W. McKinley St. on June 20, 2023.

Brandon Whistle, 48, of Wolf Lake, IL has been arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia on June 16, 2023 in the 2700 block of W. Main St.

Kasandra Duncan, 39, of Alto Pass has been arrested for Possession of Cannabis on June 16, 2023 in the 2700 block of W. Main St.

Raymond Long, 23, of Marion has been arrested for Domestic Battery in the 300 block of S. Future St. on June 16, 2023.

Justin Wolaver has been arrested for Theft in the 100 block of N. Hamlet St. on June 17, 2023.
