CAVE-IN-ROCK – The Cave-in-Rock Ferry is temporarily closed due to high winds. The ferry halted service about 11:30 a.m. according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet office in Paducah.

Winds have created hazardous conditions on the Ohio River at the ferry crossing.

The ferry will remain closed until further notice.

The Cave-in-Rock Ferry will provide timely notice when winds drop to a point where service can resume.
