SALINE COUNTY – A fatal accident involving a pedacyclist was reported shortly before 2 Wednesday morning on U.S. 45 at Wasson Road in Saline County.

According to Illinois State Police, the pedacyclist was traveling south in lane one on U.S. 45 at Wasson Road when a 2019 Buick Encore going south in the same location stuck the pedacyclist causing the pedacyclist to be ejected and pronounced dead on scene.

ISP says no further information is available.
