MARION – Williamson County Sheriff’s deputies took a man into custody Tuesday after an arrest warrant was issued last Friday for one count of Criminal Sexual Assault and one count of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse.

According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, on Jan. 24 of this year, the sheriff’s office was notified of an allegation of Criminal Sexual Assault against John M. Dodd.

Investigators gathered evidence regarding the allegations and an arrest warrant for Dodd was issued by the Williamson County State’s Attorney’s Office on the charges we mentioned earlier.

Dodd was taken into custody by deputies Tuesday. He was taken to the Williamson County Jail.
