MCLEANSBORO – The City of McLeansboro announced on Facebook Tuesday that fireworks will now take place on Saturday at dusk at Lake McLeansboro.

It was originally rescheduled from Thursday to Friday due to inclement weather in Thursday’s forecast.

The city decided to move fireworks to Saturday because Dahlgren’s Freedom Festival is set for Friday and wants everyone who can to attend and support that event.
