HARRISBURG – Former Harrisburg Mayor Eric Gregg has passed away.

The City of Harrisburg made that announcement Monday.

Gregg was mayor for two years and led the city through the deadly 2012 Leap Day Tornado.

The city says Gregg had a profound impact on countless individuals and community efforts and will be missed in a huge way.

The city sends prayers for peace and comfort to his family and to the entire community that he loved so much.
