MT. VERNON – The City of Mt. Vernon says new asphalt will be installed today and Thursday, weather permitting, on Ambassador Road, west of Mt. Vernon Township High School to Nason Lane.

The street will be closed to all traffic from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. No street parking will be allowed during this time period.

Residents along this street will need to park their vehicles on adjacent side streets as you will not have access to your driveways during this time.
