CARMI – An Enfield man is charged with two counts of Assault, two counts of Disorderly Conduct and one count of Resisting a Peace Officer following an incident in the 1300 block of Oak Street in Carmi late Friday night.

Carmi Police say 35-year-old Jason Sigmund showed up at the Oak Street property and began making bodily harm threats toward others there.

Upon police arriving, Sigmund took off running, and after a foot pursuit, was caught.

Complaints were signed, Sigmund was charged with his offenses and taken to the White County Jail.
