BENTON – Illinois State Police responded to a one-vehicle crash on northbound I-57 in Franklin County around 8:50 Sunday morning.  

According to ISP, the vehicle was traveling north on I-57 at milepost 72 in the left lane when for unknown reasons, it went off the roadway to the left and overturned. The driver was the only person inside the vehicle and was not injured.  

ISP says no further information is available.
