At approximately 1:30 a.m., Metropolis officers were called to a residence in the 1800 block of McCrary for a disturbance. This was the second call to the residence. Upon arrival, officers heard yelling and sounds of a struggle. Upon entry, officers observed a woman holding another down on the ground. Upon separating them, officers learned that Artisha M. Ingram, 32, of Paducah, KY, was intoxicated and was threatening to harm a child. Ingram kept yelling and swearing at the occupants. Officers tried to calm her down but then she directed her tantrum towards them. The occupants did not want to sign a complaint and arrangements were made to give Ingram a ride back to Paducah. Once outside, Ingram again became irate and was yelling and screaming causing neighbors to turn on lights and yell for her to quiet down. This made Ingram start yelling even louder and using vulgar language to the neighbors. Ingram was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and lodged in the Massac County Detention Center.
