CARBONDALE – A Carbondale man has been arrested in connection with a recent shooting that injured one person on South Brehm Lane in Carbondale.

According to Carbondale Police, just after 2:30 a.m. on May 24, police responded to the 1000 block of South Brehm Lane in response to a shooting victim. The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

As a result of the subsequent investigation, on May 26 detectives obtained an arrest warrant for 26-year-old Jordan S. Bryson of Carbondale with the assistance of the Jackson County State’s Attorney’s Office.

Bryson was arrested that day without incident and taken to the Jackson County Jail where he is being held. Bail was set at $500,000. He’s charged with Aggravated Battery with a Firearm and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.

Carbondale Police continue to investigate.
